I purchase a new GM crate engine from this company in Jun 10, when the engine was delievered it was just dropped off and someone at the facility signed for it, I was assured by the JEGS consultant that I would get a phone call upon delievery and it would be ok to send the invoice in the crate since I would need to sign for the engine. I recieved a call from the facility in which it was dropped of at and was told it just got delievered I then drove across town to go pickup the invoice which had my credit card number on it, so my information could not be stolen.

I called JEGS and spoke with a Manager Mr. Lewis. This individual has not idea how to deal with customers. (I felt like I was at the Post Office all I got was "I do not know" not once did he say I am sorry about the inconvenience.) Thank you for spending your 2150.00 with us.

So I then call back on 13 Jul 2010 to speak with them about the core, he said the core does not need to be send back and I told him the envelope that was in my crate engine says I have too, he told me to ignore it and he would send a warranty packet. Well today is the 22 Jul 10, I have not seen a warranty package from JEGS so I call JEGS back again and asked if this process was very difficult? I called and spoke with someone on the 13th and today is the 22nd it should have been here now. So when I call JEGS back and asked about this I again spoke with Manager Mr.

Lewis it was a waste of time, "I do not know" I cannot speak for the person you spoke with and "I do not know" why it did not get sent. Moral of this compliant I got a great deal on the price of the engine but the customer service is awful. If I had know this before hand I would have thought long and hard before I purchased even a screwdriver from this company.

Good Luck to anyone who purchases anything from these folks, for me it has been a nightmare.

I bought a screwdriver set from Jegs and it is awesome. Too bad.

Just as a friendly fact. Jegs ship there engines straight from there warehouse.

They also resell some of there returned engines. That would explain oil or shavings inside.

have ordered thousands of parts at thousands of dollars i have honestly never had a problem with i mean everything from slicks to delay boxes jets alternators with a 67/68/76 camaro and a 63 chevy 2 keep up the good work guys

This original complaint is about JEGS; if something was ordered from JEGS it is their "responsibility" for you to get your item it does not matter who delievers the item JEGS pays that company to get it to the address. If the engine builder was at fault then another compliant with that engine builder should be initiated. This is to let people know that builder is not reliable and to try other sources for any engine needs.
